Status Resistance is your chance to resist a status effect an enemy has tried to inflict on you in battle. It is a percentage, calculated like so:

  • Sanctity*2 + Faith + Other Modifiers = Status Resistance

This means someone with 10 Sanctity and 10 Faith would have 30% Status Resistance naturally.

Status Resistance is calculated after the Status Infliction is calculated during that skill or spell. For instance, someone with a Status Infliction of 150% has a 50% chance of inflicting a status on someone with a Status Resistance of 100%.

Ways of increasing Status Resistance include the Blessing of Glycon (which increases Status Resistance by Prayer Level *2%), the Anti-Status trait (which increases Status Resistance by 10%), Warding Enchantment (also increases Status Resistance by 10%) and certain items.
