Disciples of a religion, typically the Mercalan faith, these magically inclined healers are a staple in any group. While the Mercalan Tenets restrict how healing magic should be used, there is never a shortage of emergencies where it is needed.
Strengths
- With the ability to heal and buff allies, Curates shine in groups.
- Curates have powerful buff abilities, and Mass can help maintain them on several party members at once.
- The Curate's support abilities allows it to pair well with almost any class.
Drawbacks
- A Curate's only sources of damage are Holy Arrow, Kel, and weapon attacks if not supplemented by a sub class, and their lack of weapon variety makes them hard to solo.
- Curate's buffs are influenced by the ally's stat scaling. Thus, using buffs to improve the player's stats where it is above the diminishing return, is well wasted-opportunity, and whats not.
Promotions
At level 20+, Curates can become:
- Priest (Proving their devotion to aiding and healing others in need.)
- Lantern Bearer (Heeding the call of Pseudoelementals and weaving their own soul flame.)
- Aquamancer (Becoming one with the seas and understanding the basics of life.)
- ??? (???)
